• Please make sure that  your domain is not blocked for the transfer by your current registrar (status "Registrar-Lock" or "ClientTransferProhibited"). 
  • Ask the current registrar for the authorization code that you will need to confirm the transfer. This code is often referred to as the EPP or auth code, and it acts as a password that is unique to your domain name.
  • Make sure that the domain is not within the 60-day period after registration or the previous transfer.
  • Check and update your contact information, especially your email address, as important notifications will be sent to this address. Make sure that the information about the domain's registrant (owner) is correct and clearly visible in the WHOIS.
