- Grace Period:
The Domain Grace Period is the time after the domain registration period expires, during which the domain owner can extend it without additional penalties. Grace Period begins immediately after the domain registration period expires. The owner can renew the domain without additional fees within Grace period 0-45 days (depending on TLD).
- Redemption Period:
The Redemption Period follows the end of the Grace Period, during which the domain can be restored for an additional fee. If the domain is not renewed during the Grace Period, it enters the Redemption Period. This period represents the last opportunity for the owner to restore the domain, but at a cost significantly higher than the standard renewal fee.
This period lasts about 30 days.
Please note:
For different TLDs, you can check the Grace period / Redemption period on our website in the Domain Pricing section.
