To transfer a domain to another registrar, follow these steps:

  • Get EPP Code:
Request an authorization code (also known as EPP code or transfer key) in domain management settings. This code is required to initiate the transfer.
For some types of domains, you may need to unblock the domain. Once you have copied the code, please leave the domain unlocked, as this is required for the transfer process.
  • Verify Domain Contact Information:
Ensure that the contact information associated with your domain is up-to-date. This includes the admin email address, which will receive transfer instructions.
  • Initiate the Transfer with another Registrar:
Use the authorization code to start the transfer process.
  • Wait for the Transfer to Complete:
The transfer process typically takes 5-7 days to complete.

Transfer Restrictions: Ensure your domain is not within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer, as it might be restricted from transferring.

Renewal During Transfer: Some registrars may add a year to your domain's expiration date upon transfer.
